Public consultation RED 4

The Commission has opened a public consultation to receive input for the Renewable Energy Directive 4 (RED 4). Platform Renewable Fuels invites you to join a meeting to discuss inputs.

According to our analysis, including electricity in transport as one of the options for achieving the RED targets would give more space for emissions from fossil fuels in the system. As such, the emissions targets will not be achieved. This will be a central part of the input from the Platform.
