Platform Renewable Fuels as an independent knowledge and innovation centre takes the initiative to develop ideas for decentralised renewable fuel production in The Netherlands that can help develop technologies within industry clusters and create flexibility in the energy grid.

As of March 2026, the Platform has initiated a project group with several Platform Members to discuss on this topic. Other members are welcome to join if they wish to contribute ideas for this project.
