Project group: regional energy hubs and decentral e-/bio- fuel production

Background

Platform Renewable Fuels is organising a meeting to further discuss ideas for a project to develop regional energy hubs together with decentralised and integrated e- and bio- fuel production. This project aims to contribute to helping with issues of grid electricity congestion and energy security in the Netherlands by providing flexibility, helping with the rollout of electrification and fast charging. In addition, the development of small scale regional production can help with developing the technology platforms that will be needed in industry clusters in Port areas.

The Platform would like to form a consortium with Platform Members and external parties who wish to further help with developping this project.
