Biorefineries for fuels, chemicals and materials: advancing international collaboration

On behalf of the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth, RVO, and in collaboration with the Platform Bio-Economie (PBE), IEA Bioenergy and Integrated Biorefineries Mission (IBM), we are pleased to invite you to an event focused on international collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of biorefinery for biofuels, chemicals, and materials.
This workshop is particularly relevant for professionals from the industry, research and governmental organizations active in the fields of sustainable fuels, biobased feedstocks, chemistry, and materials
Goal: During this event, we will introduce you to various international initiatives related to biorefinery. Together, we will also explore how these initiatives can best support the ambitions of your institute or company.
AGENDA
14:15 – Welcome by Kees Kwant (Mission Innovation, Integrated Biorefineries Mission)
14:25 – Sustainable carbon policy – Lisanne Brummelhuis (Ministry of Climate Policy & Green Growth)
14.30 – Policies on Sustainable Aviation Fuels – speaker TBA (Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management)
14:35 – Introduction IEA Bioenergy TCP- Jeroen Kruk (RVO)
14:40 – IEA Bioenergy Task 42: Biorefining in a Circular Economy – Richard Gosselink (Wageningen University)
