Retrospective on workshop: digital trust and POME-biofuel supply chains | 2025

Background
Improving transparency and digital trust have been core themes of the Dutch Platform Renewable Fuels is working on. On Monday October 6, the Platform organised an online workshop to discuss digital trust in the context of POME-biofuels supply chains. This was a follow up from the work that the Platform developed as part of the Dutch Blockchain Coalition where the Clean Fuel Contract protooal and organisational wallter structure were explored to strengthen transparancy.
The aim of this workshop was to explore how this digital trust instrument could be used to increase transparency in the POME-biofuel supply chain with the goal to set up an innovation project. On the programme, we heard from Max Delissen from RVO who provided an update on the digital trust project and Wolter Elbersen from WUR who presented insights from a recent visit to pakm oil mills in Indonesia.
