PHB Workshop: RED 3 implementation - Principles and consequences of the new system RED 3

Background

On Tuesday 3 October, the Dutch Platform Renewable Fuels (PHB) organised a workshop to provide the Ministry with input regarding the proposed sectoral obligations in the annual energy and transport commitment. In this workshop, the Platform explored the potential roles of maritime shipping, the “free space,” and the “HBE refinery” within the CO2-based regulatory system. This helped providing the audience with insights into the new system and the potential dynamics among market players. The goal was to develop insights collaboratively.
