Bayer and Neste cooperate on the development of canola for renewable fuel production

Neste and Bayer have signed a memorandum of understanding with the goal to develop a winter canola ecosystem in the United States. The winter canola will be used as a rotational crop in combination with regenerative agricultural practices for the production of renewable fuels such as sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel. The memorandum of understanding includes identifying partners, developing the value chain together and scaling winter canola production.
