PWC, VITO, UU et al.: Sustainable and optimal use of biomass for energy in the EU beyond 2020

In 2015 en 2016 onderzocht een consortium onder leiding van PWC (Italie) en Vito (Belgie) de mogelijkheden van duurzaam en optimaal gebruik van biomassa voor energie in de EU, voor de periode na 2020. Voor de Europese Commissie was dit een van de rapporten die dienden als input voor de Impact Assessment voor het RED-2 voorstel.
