E4tech - Ramp up of lignocellulosic ethanol in Europe to 2030 | 2017

This study has been commissioned by the co-sponsors of the 6th International Conference on Lignocellulosic Ethanol (BetaRenewables, DuPont, ePURE, Leaf, Novozymes, Shell, St1) to provide an overview of the current status of the lignocellulosic ethanol industry (hereafter cellulosic ethanol), how it could realistically ramp up by 2030 in the EU, and the resulting costs.

IEA: Delivering Sustainable Fuels: Pathways to 2035

The latest report on renewable fuels by the IEA concludes that if current and proposed national and international policies are fully legislated and implemented, the use of sustainable fuels could nearly double by 2030 (compared to 2024 levels) and quadruple by 2035.
