What's the future of HVO?

In this web conference of the Transport Energy outlook service the global scale up of renewable diesel/hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) is discussed. issues that will be addressed are: implications for refining and biofuels industries, future of feedstocks and how policies will impact a growing market.

The event brings two key-note speaches from the US perspective as well as from the EU perspective, followed by a discussion. Speakers are:

• Bruce Comer, Managing Director of Ocean Park,  providing insights from the US-based investment bank in bioenergy and biofuels
• Eric van den Heuvel, Founder and partner at studio Gear Up, an Netherlands based strategy advisory firm providing a policy and feedstock perspective in the light of the climate context.

The event is hosted by Tammy Klein, founder of Transport Energy Strategies and Philippe Marchand, former Senior Biofuel Expert at total and currently Steering Commissie Member  of the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) Bioenergy.
